Cupi-Ki-Yai-Ya (koo-pee-kee-yai-yah) is a song that I composed a long time ago for someone very special. Ddann Wwilliss and I arranged a version of this song (mixed with some of our individual ideas cool enough to garner attention but uncool enough to be songs on their own) with different lyrics that can be heard on his debut LP, located here >>> youthsonskates.bandcamp.com/album/youths-on-skates

What does Cupi-Ki-Yai-Ya mean? If I told you, I'd have to kill you. Well, not really. But yeah, really.

It'd been such a long time
Back then, I was yours

Long ago, these obelisks
Stood with just cause
But now, these crumbling rocks
Are a testament to what once was

Still, you remain
Not as love
But a memory
